The Truth Behind Choice

The ability to choose gives us the power to create and recreate the events, experiences and even moments of our lives. If you do not like the outcome of a choice you have made, you can simply choose again and create a different result. It's a continual dance that presents the opportunity to decide in each moment what we want and don't want. It is fluid and ever changing.
Some obvious choices include what career you want, if you desire to marry and/or have children, where you want to live, which friendships you want to cultivate. Some not so obvious choices include how you react and respond to things, how you perceive the world around you, how you treat yourself and others. Yes, that is even a choice!
You may not realize the power of choice and how it impacts every moment. Choice is a great gift and allows us to create all that we want and the experiences we have. That responsibility can seem scary but if you truly understand the gift of choice, it's more easily embraced and even liberating.
Choice can right a wrong, change a life, touch a heart, heal a wound. To understand the power of choice, start by creating an awareness of the choices you make. Be aware of how each action is a choice... every word spoken, any action taken, each reaction or response given. Start there and you will begin to see the impact of your choice. If you are uncomfortable with the impact or outcome of a specific choice, you can make a new choice. Isn't life great??
Recognize how choice crafts our lives. See the power you have in every choice you make. You can choose create happiness, peace, love, struggle, hardship and discontent. It's your choice. Let's be realistic here.... it may not be that simple. So, begin with creating the awareness and embrace the power that is yours to create the life that you want. Much can be revealed about who you truly are in the examination of your choices. We'll explore that more on our journey together. If that is your choice, of course!
In a Funk? Use Your Gifts!

We are now in the second phase of this year of new beginning and there is much going on! The time is now for creating the life that you want, exactly how you want it. The sky is the limit, literally! Amidst the excitement of newness, new beginnings and lighter energies is the challenge of determining what you want, what is for your highest good and trusting that you will have it. In addition, as we go through the exciting yet challenging process, we are observing the pain and suffering of others. Natural disasters, people losing their homes with the housing situation, personal crises of all kinds.... it's hard to not be affected by all of this in some way. If you are one who is experiencing a crisis, it's even more challenging.
If you find yourself in a funk, one way to navigate through is to use your gifts. When you are utilizing your gifts, you feel peaceful, inspired, fulfilled and motivated. When using your gifts, you bring lightness to others.
What are your gifts? Are you good with numbers and therefor help others with accounting needs? Are you a good cook and nourish others with meals that you lovingly prepare? Perhaps you have a warm smile that comforts strangers or an infectious laugh that fills the room and lightens the mood. What do you enjoy doing? Chances are, that is one of your gifts. What are your creative talents? Do you enjoy painting, writing, making jewelry or playing an instrument?
Start with one gift and use it daily. Create an awareness of when you are using this gift, how it makes you feel and the impact it has on others. Even if you are painting alone in your house, you impact others because you are lifting your vibration and your energies. As you lift you, others lift, too. That is how we have impact!
So, pick a gift, any gift! Utilize it daily, share it with the world. Lift your spirits and those around you. Get out of your funk and help others do the same. And, by all means, have fun doing it
Decisions, Decisions.... But I Can't Decide!

Do you find yourself in a place lately of having many decisions to make yet not being able to make any of them? You're trying to plan a trip but for some strange reason, you can't decide where to go, where to stay or even how long to stay. You're contacting professionals to hire for projects and you can't decide to go with this person or that person. They have all the skills and qualifications you need to get the job done but you just can't make that decision!
What gives? You're not usually such an indecisive person but you're constantly running into resistance and not able to move forward on plans or projects because your "inability" to decide. I"d like to suggest that this inability isn't a weakness or a negative in any way. It's actually a huge gift!
It's the Universe's way of saying... Nope, look elsewhere. They are a great person but there is someone more suited out there. Or... Maybe this isn't the right time to take that trip and it would be more enjoyable and rewarding. In a few months you may be so busy that taking a break is important to get away from it all. It's about finding solutions that are more aligned with who you are, with your purpose and your intentions at that time. Hence the gift.
When you feel you can't make a decision, don't if you don't have to. Wait until you feel clear. If you are one who is sensitive to energies, wait until you feel movement in the energies, until you feel the flow. Your guidance and the Universe is trying to help you so let them! You've asked for things and they want to bring them to you. Let them bring you what is right and perfect for you at the right and perfect time. And be patient. Yeah, that's a tough one I know but so very important. You'll know what to do when you need to do it and when the right solution comes along. Trust yourself, trust the process, be patient and watch what miracles occur!
